How we Operate

At Die Boskapel you have a lot of different options for your ceremony and reception. You can do an all indoor, all outdoor, or indoor and outdoor for the ceremony and reception.

VERY IMPORTANT: For all outside areas, you will automatically be moved inside in the case of rain. This decision is at the discretion of Die Boskapel and will be made final the day before the wedding depending on the weather.

 

We do not have a minimum guest requirement as we charge a set venue hire, and then charge you per person for consumables like food, drinks, décor etc.

Ceremony

You can choose between the Chapel and one of two outdoor options. All options are the same rate. If you choose an outdoor option and it rains on your wedding day, we will move you to the Chapel by default.

 

The Chapel includes the following: amount of white Tiffany chairs for your guests, 6 candles on the sides of the chapel and 6 candles in front, 1 red carpet, kneeling pillows, baskets for confetti, 8 iron stands down the isle to hold either candles or flowers, 2 iron domes and candle stands in front, use of the piano. No other décor is included but can be rented at additional cost.

For an outside ceremony we will include the following: amount of white Tiffany chairs for your guests, 1 hessian rug for isle, kneeling pillows, baskets for confetti, use of white iron gazebo, 1 table for DJ, iron stands for isle, 2 iron domes and candle stands, 1 table and 2 chairs for signing of the register.

Welcome Area

We also offer our Bush area for drinks and snacks between the ceremony and reception. This area is included in our venue hire. We decorate the area by hanging mosquito nets over the upright tables and place pillows on the concrete seats for your guests. You can choose to serve a variety of drinks here including but not limited to: sherry, juice, beer, ciders, cocktails etc. You also have the option to serve your starter here while your guests wait. Chat to our caterer to discuss all available options. No other décor is included for this area.

For the reception we also offer you an inside and outside option. The inside option will be held in our Lapa, which can have the sides up or down according to your preference (or weather). Included in the Lapa hire is the following: tables and chairs for your amount of guests (excluding wooden tables), fully stocked cash bar and barmen, all glasses for your reception, 1 bonfire outside (if weather permits), cleaning staff. All décor is excluded from the venue hire. We can also drape the roof with 8 lanes of white draping with fairy lights at an additional cost.

 

The outside option will be held right next to the Lapa. If you choose this option and there is rain or bad weather, we will move you to the Lapa by default. Included for the outside option is the following: tables and chairs for your amount of guests, fully stocked cash bar and barmen, all glasses for your reception, 1 bonfire outside. You will still have use of the Lapa for dancing and dishing up the buffet meal.

 

If you want fairy lights set up over the tables outside, we can do it at an additional charge, but you can also supply your own.
